Crochet Stitch Pattern # 1

Here is a lovely crochet lace stitch pattern.  This stitch features a lattice look with small shells inside of the lattice. 


The stitches used are single crochet, double crochet and chain stitches.  


There is only a two row repeat to achieve this stitch pattern and so I think it is a fairly beginner friendly crochet stitch pattern. I hope you enjoy the free crochet lace stitch pattern and crochet video tutorial below!

Free Crochet Stitch Pattern

Foundation: Multiples of 12 + 2


Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 5, sk 5, sc*, repeat * across. 


Row 2: Ch 1, turn, dc, ch 2, *sc in next ch sp, 4 dc in sc , sc in ch sp, ch 5*, repeat * until sc in last ch sp, ch 2, dc in last st. 


Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc, *ch 5, sc between 2nd & 3rd dc below,  ch 5, sc in ch sp*, repeat * until sc between last set of dc below,  ch 5, sc in last st.



Repeat rows 2 & 3.
